Turn Over

Angelina Richardson

This piece was the beginning of something I knew would be helpful for me in the long run. This was 30 hours of work, trying to piece together and replace to hit the standards of the assignment. This had to be 2ft by 1ft, mutiple things happening at once, and it all had to be done on some sort of fabric. There are three 3d, 2d and 4d between the interaction. This was a piece I wanted to be held. You would run your hands across the back of the design and fell the wool I installed underneath feeling a surprise which you are pleased it isn't an animal. I used stamping and stitching and pleating with multiple different kind of fabrics to end up where I am today. I created this huge piece without knowing the outcome of it, a new topic I am pleased to explore. At the end of the day touch and the feel of these fabric ended up being success, expecially in the hoping everything turned out right in the long run.
